We Built a Cleaning Business From Scratch. Here’s What Happened.

True story from a build I did a while back. Still one of my favorites.

Client wanted to start a residential cleaning company. Smart guy, operations background, zero experience in home services. Everyone — his friends, his accountant, some guy at a networking event — told him to buy a franchise.

We built it from scratch instead.

Week 1: Entity, insurance, bonding. The boring shit that protects you.
Week 2-3: Brand. Not a logo — a complete identity. Uniforms, vehicle wraps, booking system, the works.
Week 4-6: Hired first 4 cleaners. Trained them on a system we built specifically for his market. Not some cookie-cutter franchise manual written in 2009.
Week 7-8: Marketing goes live. Local SEO, Google Business, targeted ads.

Month 3: Fully booked.
Month 6: Waiting list.
Month 9: Second crew.

Total investment? A fraction of the cheapest cleaning franchise out there.

He owned 100%. No royalties. No franchise overlord. No bullshit.

That’s what’s possible when you build something that’s actually yours.

We build businesses for corporate professionals who are done building someone else's. You own 100%. No franchise. No royalties.
